Who You Can Share With
Anyone you give the link to. Common ones:
- Your co-parent or partner. Same info, same link, no forwarding emails back and forth.
- A caregiver or babysitter. When someone else is doing pickup, the schedule and address go with them.
- Grandparents or extended family. So they know what's happening without needing a phone call.
- A coach, counselor, or group leader. They see what you know about the activity without you forwarding emails.
- Other parents on the team. The ones texting "wait, what time is practice again?" every week. Send them the link once and they can check for themselves.
What You Can Share
An activity on your dashboard, called a matter: the soccer season, the school year, the summer camp, the piano recital. The recipient sees everything SuperDuper has collected about that one activity. That usually includes:
- The next event and the full upcoming schedule
- Addresses, maps, and locations
- Links pulled from the organizer's emails: waivers, carpool signups, Sign-Up Genius pages, registration portals
- Packing lists, required gear, uniform details
- To-dos and deadlines
- Anything else the organizer has sent about that activity
If it came in on an email SuperDuper picked up, it's probably in there.
How to Share
- Open the matter on your dashboard.
- Tap Share in the toolbar.
- Copy the link, or enter email addresses and tap Send.
The first time you share a matter, SuperDuper takes a few seconds to prepare a clean, shareable copy. After that the link is ready to send.
What Recipients See
A clean web page at the link. They don't need an account. They don't need to install anything. They open the link on their phone or laptop and see the same layout you see, labeled as a shared view from SuperDuper.
They can bookmark the link and come back anytime. As new emails come in about that activity, the shared view updates with them.
What Stays Private
Before anyone else can open the link, SuperDuper rewrites the shared view to strip out anything that's only for your family:
- Your child's name is replaced with a generic reference
- Private family notes and preferences are removed
- Attachments and original email content are not included
- Source email addresses stay private
What the recipient gets is the useful stuff, without the personal context that only matters to your household.
Shared matters are not indexed by search engines. The only people who see the link are the ones you give it to.
Managing Your Link
- One active link per matter. The URL stays predictable. Share it with as many people as you want.
- Each link lasts 7 days. The expiration shows up in the share panel so you always know where you stand.
- Renew keeps the same URL working for another week. Handy for season-long activities.
- Revoke shuts the link down immediately. Anyone who tries to visit it sees an expired page. Revoked links can't come back. Creating a new share afterward generates a brand-new URL.
- Email sends are rate-limited. Up to 10 recipients per send, up to 30 per day across all your matters. Keeps accidental blasts in check.
- Trashing the matter revokes the link. If you remove the activity from your dashboard, the share goes with it.
The matter gets shared, not a specific event. So if you share the whole soccer season with a team parent, they'll see every game and practice as it's added.
