Time Windows
Upcoming breaks your schedule into four time-based sections so you always know what's around the corner:
- Your Week Ahead -- Everything happening in the next 7 days. This is where you'll spend most of your time. Permission slips due Friday, Thursday's game, Saturday's birthday party -- it's all here.
- Coming Up -- Things 7 to 30 days out. Far enough away that you don't need to act today, but close enough to start planning. Think field trip next month or registration deadlines.
- On the Horizon -- More than 30 days away. Summer camp sign-ups, end-of-year events, next semester's schedule. Good to know about, no rush to act.
- No Specific Date -- Items that don't have a set date but still need your attention. Things like "update emergency contacts" or "order new cleats."
Card View vs. Agenda View
You can view your Upcoming items two ways. Card View shows each item as a rich card with details, context, and actions. It's great for browsing and getting the full picture.
Agenda View is a compact, chronological list -- more like a traditional calendar view. Every day in your date range appears, including days with nothing scheduled, so you can see the gaps at a glance. It's faster to scan when you just need to know what's when. Events without a specific time show as "All day."
Switch between views using the toggle at the top of the Upcoming screen. SuperDuper remembers your preference.
Expanding and Collapsing
Each time window section can be expanded or collapsed. Tap the section header to toggle it open or closed. This is handy when you want to focus on just this week and hide everything else.
You can also pinch to expand or collapse all sections at once. Two fingers apart opens everything up; two fingers together tucks it all away.
