What You'll See

For You is split into three main areas that give you a quick read on your family's schedule:

  • Spotlight -- The things that need your attention right now. Deadlines approaching, schedule conflicts, high-priority tasks due in the next 7 days, and fresh FYIs. If something is urgent, it shows up here first. FYI items drop off Spotlight automatically after 72 hours.
  • Next Up -- What's coming in the next day or two. Think of it as a heads-up so you're not caught off guard by tomorrow's early dismissal or Saturday's tournament.
  • Week at a Glance -- A snapshot of your full week, so you can see the big picture without switching to a calendar view. Each row shows the activity it belongs to, so "Practice" on Thursday reads as soccer practice, not a mystery appointment.

How It's Organized

Everything on For You is grouped by topic or activity -- what SuperDuper calls "matters." A matter might be your daughter's soccer season, your son's school, or an upcoming camp registration.

Within each matter, items are sorted by relevance to each child. So if your oldest has a permission slip due tomorrow and your youngest has picture day next week, the permission slip floats to the top.

Past events gray out once they've passed, and the next upcoming event is shown by default. Completed to-dos and FYIs drop off the main matter view after 72 hours — they're still accessible by tapping into the matter details.

Tip

Tap any card to open the full details, including the original email it came from. On mobile, swipe left or right to move between items.

Not everything needs action. The FYI Carousel holds informational items -- things like a school newsletter recap, a notice about an upcoming holiday, or a change to the carpool schedule.

Swipe through the carousel to browse. When you've read something, mark it as seen and it moves out of your way. No pressure, no deadlines -- just good to know.

Refreshing Your Dashboard

Pull down from the top of your For You screen to refresh. SuperDuper checks for new emails and updates your dashboard with anything that's changed since your last visit.

Your dashboard also refreshes automatically in the background, so most of the time everything is already up to date when you open the app.
