SuperDuper is shutting down.

SuperDuper has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Life360! The app will be shut down on August 17, 2026. You don’t need to do anything — here’s what happens.

What's happening?

SuperDuper has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Life360! The app will be shut down on August 17, 2026.

What do I need to do?

Nothing. Everything below happens automatically.

What exactly stops on August 17?

At the end of the day (Pacific time), the app will stop working and SuperDuper’s access to your Gmail and Google Calendar will be disconnected.

What happens to my data?

We will delete all customer data — your account, family profiles, calendar and email derived content, and chat history — within 30 days of shutdown. Your data is NOT being sold and is NOT being transferred to another company.

What about my Gmail and Google Calendar connections?

SuperDuper’s access to your Gmail and Google Calendar will be revoked automatically at shutdown, all access is removed, and stored tokens are deleted. If you’d like to remove the access yourself sooner, you can do that anytime by managing your Google Account permissions. Your Google account, email, and calendar themselves are never affected.

Will I be charged anything? Do I need to cancel?

No. SuperDuper was free, so there’s nothing to cancel and no charges.

Does my SuperDuper account move to Life360?

No. Accounts and data won’t transfer. Life360’s app is available in the app stores if you’d like to try it; setting it up is separate from SuperDuper.

Will there be a SuperDuper 2.0?

The SuperDuper product is retired. The spirit of SuperDuper and ideas behind it will live on in what our team builds at Life360.

I have a question that isn’t here.

Email hello@superduperlabs.com. We’re reading and answering through September 17, 2026.

Thank you for being part of SuperDuper!
