SuperDuper learns a lot from your emails, but some things it can only learn from you. Family Preferences is where you share the context that makes everything work better.
Think of Family Preferences as a way to tell SuperDuper the things it can’t figure out on its own. Here are some examples:
Setting up your preferences takes just a minute:
Write in plain language. No special format required. For example:
“No swim on Tuesdays (piano lessons). Emma has a nut allergy. Weekends only for organized sports. Max two activities per kid per week.”
You can update your preferences anytime. Come back and add more as you think of things.
SuperDuper uses your preferences to filter and prioritize incoming items. If you’ve said “no activities on Tuesdays,” and a Tuesday event pops up, SuperDuper can flag the conflict. If you’ve noted an allergy, it’ll pay closer attention to food-related items.
Your preferences don’t block anything from showing up. They help SuperDuper understand what matters most to your family so it can organize things more intelligently. For one-off corrections, you can also use Improve Relevancy on individual items.
