Connecting Gmail

SuperDuper reads your family-related emails so you don’t have to. Here’s how to connect your Gmail and what to expect.

How to Connect

Connecting Gmail takes about a minute. Here’s how:

Open Settings in your SuperDuper app.
Tap Connections.
Tap Connect Gmail.
Sign in with your Google account and grant SuperDuper the permissions it needs.

That’s it. SuperDuper will start processing your family-related emails right away.

What SuperDuper Reads

SuperDuper focuses on emails from schools, coaches, activity organizers, and other senders related to your kids. It looks for schedule changes, upcoming events, permission slips, and other things parents need to know about.

And it doesn’t stop at the email itself. SuperDuper also:

Opens attachments – PDFs, spreadsheets, Word docs, images. That tournament bracket buried in a 10-page PDF? SuperDuper reads the whole thing.
Follows links – If an email says “click here for the full schedule,” SuperDuper clicks it for you and reads the page, as long as it’s publicly accessible (no login required).
Reads images – Flyers, screenshots, and photos attached to emails are all fair game.

SuperDuper never reads your work emails, personal conversations, or anything unrelated to your kids.

What Happens Next

Once you connect, SuperDuper does a 30-day backfill of your email. That means it looks back through the last month of messages to find anything relevant to your family.

Items will start appearing on your For You dashboard within minutes. Each item is automatically matched to the right child based on context from the email.

The backfill runs once. If you need it re-run for any reason, email us at hello@superduperlabs.com.

Disconnecting Gmail

If you ever want to stop the connection:

Go to Settings.
Tap Connections.
Tap Disconnect next to your Gmail account.

SuperDuper stops reading new emails immediately. Your existing dashboard items stay put. You can reconnect anytime.
