Activity
The firehose. Activity shows everything that’s come through, with filters to help you find exactly what you need.
Active, Done, and Trash
Activity is organized into three tabs at the top of the screen:
- Active – Everything that’s still open or in progress. Events that haven’t happened yet, tasks that haven’t been completed, and FYIs you haven’t seen. This is your default view.
- Done – Items you’ve completed or marked as seen. Past events, checked-off tasks, and read FYIs all live here. It’s your history.
- Trash – Things you’ve deleted. Items stay in Trash for 30 days before they’re permanently removed, so you can recover anything you deleted by mistake.
Searching and Filtering
Use the search bar at the top to find anything by keyword. Looking for that email about the science fair? Just type “science fair” and Activity will show you every item that matches.
For more specific results, use the filter options:
- By child – Show only items related to a specific kid.
- By type – Filter to just Events, Tasks, or FYIs.
- By priority – See only high-priority items that need your attention first.
- By date – Narrow down to a specific date range.
Combine filters to get really specific. For example, show only high-priority tasks for your oldest child due this month.
Grouping
By default, Activity shows items in a flat list sorted by date. But you can group them for a different perspective:
- By child – See all of Emma’s items together, then all of Jack’s.
- By date – Group items by day, so you can see everything happening on Tuesday at a glance.
- By type – All events in one group, all tasks in another, all FYIs in a third.
Switch between groupings using the control at the top of the list. SuperDuper remembers your last choice.
Managing Items
Activity is where you can take action on individual items:
- Mark a task complete – Tap the checkbox. Done. It moves to the Done tab.
- Mark an FYI as seen – Tap “Mark as Seen” to acknowledge you’ve read it.
- Delete an item – Tap the three-dot menu and choose Delete. It goes to Trash.
- Recover from Trash – Open the Trash tab, find the item, and tap Restore. It goes back to Active.
If something doesn’t belong on your dashboard at all, use Improve Relevancy instead of Delete. That helps SuperDuper learn what’s relevant to your family.
